The summer festival fills the square for three days

The summer festival took the square for three days and drew about twenty thousand people, most of them on the Saturday evening. Four stages ran from the afternoon until eleven, and nothing was charged at any of them.

Thirty-one acts played, nineteen of them from within thirty kilometres. The organisers say the two things they will change next year are both about the ground: more water points, and a wider gap between the food stalls and the small stage, which lost its front row to a queue.
