The primary school opens two new classrooms
Forty-eight more places, built over the summer, and the afternoon shift ends with them.
The primary school on the north road took two new classrooms into use this week, adding forty-eight places. The rooms were built over the summer on the yard side, and the school says the afternoon shift that has run for three years ends with them.
The head teacher says the two classes now start at the same hour as the rest, which returns the school to a single timetable. The yard lost about a fifth of its area to the building; a smaller pitch has been marked out at the far end.
